Introductory Paragraph

Metaphors can mean anything someone needs them to mean, depending on the context. In trying times, what you say really matters. If you have a loved one struggling with a difficult part in their life and they reach out to you, you should think before you speak. People deserve to know they have someone there for them, especially someone to support them and provide advice. Positive vibes may not always help if they are not interpreted correctly and if they aren’t, they won’t be worth it.

  1. 1. Opens with more of a They say/ I say approach
    2. Main topics are that metaphors take on different value depending on the context of situation
    3. Writing about about metaphors and their impact on someone’s mental health
    4. Wants to argue that metaphors are very dependent on context and how they are interpreted

I think it is a good start and I do agree with all of the things you said because my paper has some of the same basic ideas. Maybe try and just add a little more overall info and make the thesis a little clearer/stronger and you should be good.
