I chose my best friend, Kalli Collinge to interview about her life changing story. Kalli was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes the summer before our freshman year of high school. Prior to her being diagnosed, she suffered life-threatening health issues which kept her in the hospital for a week. After multiple trips to urgent care and always leaving with the result of it just being “asthma”, she was taken to Boston after nearly blacking out during a softball game. Her life was changed completely once she was diagnosed and four years later, it still impacts every decision she makes.
